1. Application and Performace:
(1). Application:Connected in series with capacitors to form a resonant circuit
conveniently detuned such that the whole unit has an inductive impedance at the
frequencies of all harmonics presenting in the system. Protect the capacitor, prevent
the harmonic amplification, Absorb part of the harmonic current. Choose reactors
should be coincide with system harmonic spectrum; and the reactor must be used in
series with capacitors.
(2), Operation conditions:
Altitude less than 2000m; Ambient temperature between -25ºC and +45ºC,
Average temp. not exceed 35ºC in 24H, Relative humidity less than 90%.
2. Performance:
(1) Standard: as per GB1094.6-2011, JB/T5346-1998, or Customized
(2) Insulation: F-Class or H-Class
(3) Phase/Frequency: 1P and 3P at 50Hz or 60Hz
(4) Dielectric withstand voltage: AC3kV/min., system voltage≤1kV
(5) Normal Capacity: 2.5~100kVAR, for special capacity, as per harmonic
requirements.
(6) Reactor capacity: 6%,7%,13%,14% etc., normally as per harmonics
requirements
(7) Temp. rise: continuous rated current 135%, for F-Class, coil temp. rise less
than 100K, for H-Class, less than 120K (resistance method)
(8) Capacity tolerance: 0~+10% of rated value
(9) Max. safety current: 5th harmonic current below 35%, compound current
below 120%;
3. Installation distance:
Considering insulation and heat requirements, should keep a Min. safe distance
between reactor and cabinet. (Demonstrated right pic.)
